MUNICH FABRIC START, one of the leading European textile trade fairs, is preparing to welcome professionals and enthusiasts from the sector on 21 and 22 January 2025 in Munich.
The event, which takes place twice a year, offers an international platform where manufacturers and suppliers present their latest innovations in textiles, accessories and sourcing solutions. For the Spring/Summer 2026 edition, up to 1,100 international exhibitors are expected, ready to show their new collections to an audience of about 15,000 visitors from all over the world.
The thematic areas of the Munich textile fair
The fair is divided into several thematic areas:
- Fabrics: dedicated to innovative fabrics for all segments of clothing, with a full range of products that include knitted fabrics and fabrics in wool, cotton, silk, blends and functional fibers.
- Additionals: focused on buttons, ribbons, decorative details, slipcovers, lace, embroidery and branding solutions.
- Design Studios: where international designers and trend studios present their textile designs and the latest prints.
- Keyhouse: an innovation hub showcasing futuristic solutions with a high level of innovation, hosting experts in smart fabrics, new materials and advanced technologies.
- ReSOURCE: A sourcing platform for sustainable innovations and textile solutions, which offers an overview of material developments produced in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
In conjunction with MUNICH FABRIC START, will also be held the BLUEZONE, an international fair dedicated to denim, street and sportswear, and the VIEW Premium Selection, a preview that presents the latest trends in terms of materials and colors for the next season.
